On-line course on digital awareness for rural India

Prabhakar Foundation along with Rotary Club of Thane Suburban organized certificate distribution program on 29th November for their first batch of Digital Awareness course under mission for rural education. The pilot course was conducted online for village Yavali in Solapur district. The course consisted of various topics on effective use of computers and smartphones in their profession and day to day life. The topics were covered in 25 sessions over a period of  45 days. The course will be conducted every alternate month to provide free digital awareness training to rural india. The mission for rural education is being implemented by the organizations jointly through their novel concept of setting up E Community Centres in villages; equipped with facilities for digital communication. Online training will be provided through the channel on various topics of village development in the field of education, health & sanitation, livelihood and social awareness.

प्रभाकर फौंडेशन व रोटरी क्लब ऑफ ठाणे सबर्बन यांच्या संयुक्तिक प्रयत्नाने ‘इंटरनेटचा प्रभावी वापर’ यावर आभासी प्रशिक्षणाचा पाठ्यक्रम राबवण्यात येत आहे. पहिला प्रायोगिक पाठ्यक्रम नुकताच पार पडला व त्याचा प्रमाणपत्र प्रदानाचा कार्यक्रम २९ नोव्हेंबर रोजी संपन्न झाला.  हा कार्यक्रम मुखत्वे ग्रामीण भागासाठी तयार केला असून सोलापूर जिल्ह्यातील यावली येथे प्रथम प्रायोगिक तत्वावर आभासी प्रशिक्षण पद्धतीने राबवण्यात आला. या पाठ्यक्रमात कॉम्पुटर व स्मार्टफोन यांचा दैनंदिन जीवनात योग्य वापर कसा करावा यावर प्रशिक्षण दिले जाते. पाठ्यक्रम २५ सत्रात साधारण पणे ४५ दिवस चालतो. प्रभाकर फौंडेशन व रोटरी क्लब ऑफ ठाणे सबर्बन यांच्या संयुक्तिक प्रयत्नाने हा कार्यक्रम आता एक महिन्या आड इतर ठिकाणीही राबवण्यात येईल. हा कार्यक्रम ग्रामीण रहिवास्यांना मोफत असेल. इ समाज मंदिर या नाविन्यपूर्ण कल्पनेतून ग्रामीण प्रशिक्षण अभियान राबवण्यात येत आहे. गावोगावी इ समाज मंदिराची स्थापना केली जाईल. कॉम्पुटर व आभासी सभांना लागणारी उपकरणे  इ समाज मंदिरात बसवली जातील. या वाहिनीद्वारे ग्रामीण विकासासाठी लागणारे आभासी प्रशिक्षण दिले जाईल. शिक्षण, आरोग्य कल्याण, अर्थ कल्याण, समाज कल्याण असे अनेक विषय प्रशिक्षणात हाताळले जातील.
