New E Community Centres at Irle & Tandiwadi in Solapur District

Prabhakar Foundation started two new E Community centers at village Irle and village Tandulwadi in Solapur district. Irle is a small village with population is about 1800 while population of village Tandulvadi is about 1400. Both the villages depend mainly on agriculture and allied businesses for their livelihood. A group of youth from the village Irle has come forward for village development by collaborating through E Community Center while a women’s group from village Tandulwadi has taken a lead in the use of E Community Centre. Prabhakar Foundation donated the latest generation computer and allied equipment required for online education to these centres. 

Prabhakar Foundation intends to impart skills and knowledge to the villagers required in village development. Various topics in education, health & sanitation, livelihood and social awareness will be dealt through online meetings and workshops.  The computer and associated equipment were donated by Dr. Harish Koratkar; a resident of the USA.

प्रभाकर फौंडेशनने सोलापूर जिल्ह्यातील इर्ले व तांदुळवाडी या दोन गावात ई समाज मंदिरांची स्थापना केली. इर्ले गावाची लोकसंख्या १,८०० च्या आसपास आहे तर तांदुळवाडीची लोकसंख्या १,४०० च्या आसपास आहे. दोन्ही गावात शेती हेच उपजीविकेचे प्रमुख साधन आहे. इर्ल्याच्या काही तरुणांनी तर तांदुळवाडीच्या काही महिलांनी ई समाज मंदिराद्वारे ग्रामविकास साधण्यात पुढाकार घेतला आहे. प्रभाकर फौंडेशनने या ई समाज मंदिरास अद्यावत संगणक व आभासी प्रशिक्षणास लागणारी इतर उपकरणे प्रदान केली. 

ई समाज मंदिराद्वारे ग्रामविकासास पूरक कौशल्य प्रशिक्षण देण्याचा प्रभाकर फौंडेशनचा मूळ उद्देश आहे. शिक्षण, आरोग्य कल्याण, आर्थिक विकास, समाज कल्याण असे  अनेक विषय आभासी प्रशिक्षणाद्वारे हाताळले जातील. संगणक व इतर उपकरणे अमेरिकेचे रहिवासी Dr. हरीश कोरटकर यांच्या अनुदानातून देण्यात आली.
